Flights and airline tickets
The flow up to boarding
Travelers must pass through the security check 20 minutes before boarding.
Please allow enough time for this whenever possible. Please come to the airport at least 30-40 minutes prior to departure. Customers making overseas connecting flights should be at the airport one hour before departure.

Poor weather and the time to determine whether the aircraft can fly
There are no particular rules. The carrier will make the judgment. Information regarding whether a flight has been canceled can also be obtained at Osaka International Airport Information Center [+81(0)6-6856-6781 (06:30-21:30)] in addition to information listed at each carrier’s corporate homepage (Flight Information or Departure and Arrival Information, and others).
Also, ask your carrier’s corporate reservation center or check-in counter regarding refunds for reservation changes caused by poor weather. Also, the check-in counter does not handle telephone calls. (JAL and ANA handle reservation changes and refunds via their corporate homepages.)

Security
Carriers conduct security checks according to the various rules established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Therefore, ask your carrier regarding security checks of carry-on restrictions and the like.
Also, the sizes of carry-on luggage are listed below. (Uniform across all airlines)
100 seats or more: The total of three sides must be within 115 cm (55 cm x 40 cm x 25 cm)
100 seats or less: The total of three sides must be within 100cm (45cm x 35cm x 20cm)

Lost and found
The contact for lost and found differs depending on where the article was lost. For lost and found inside the terminal building, contact the airport building security room, or Osaka International Airport Information Center [+81(0)6-6856-6781 (06:30-21:30)].

Home-delivery Service
We offer a home-delivery service for luggage from the airport to your home, and a service to hand over home-delivery packages sent from your home in advance to the airport. However, we do not offer a same-day delivery service that delivers luggage to the hotel on the day of arrival at the airport.

Facilities for children
We also offer a variety of facilities to assist passengers traveling with small children. Please take advantage of the kids’ corner, the nursing room, or toddler’s toilet seat, and other amenities.

Cell-phone rental
No cell-phone rentals are available.
Shower room and changing room
There are no shower rooms or changing rooms. There are clothing tables (fitting boards) available in some restrooms. Please feel free to use these.
Hospital
There is a medical center (health clinic and internal medicine) and a dental clinic on the first floor in the central block.
Airport hotel
The Osaka Airport Hotel is located on the third floor in the central block. Recommended for passengers with early-morning flights or late-night arrivals.
Foreign Currency Exchange
Travelex handles foreign currency exchange. However, we do not handle traveler’s checks.
Vehicle Rental Reservations
Vehicle rental company counters are located inside the terminal building.

Shop opening time
Shop opening times vary depending on the shop, but shops generally open from around 06:30 AM.
